Website Launch!

The website is here!

Here are some thoughts on that.

First, welcome! If you’re reading this, then I’ve already succeeded. It’s great to be able to have a place where my thoughts can be put in a semi-rambling mess, and I’m glad to have you here.

Being a creative (especially a director) is particularly tough at the moment, especially in the UK. I hope that I can collaborate with as many creatives as possible after this launch, and help to cultivate the UK’s (especially the North’s) cultural communities.

It’s a little disheartening to have to brand myself as if I’m a business, to be perfectly honest. Gone are the days of forums of creatives create collective cultures through their mistakes and successes, I fear.

But nonetheless, I hope this website brings some information—at the very least—to those interested in me and my work.

Do follow the blog for some writings about various topics. Much of this will be for my benefit, to pick and choose depending on whom I’m trying to impress, but I welcome all to read what they wish.

I’ll try my best at every turn to make myself accessible to all, and to prevent myself sounding as corporate as Squarespace wants me to.

So, do get in touch, let’s make some stuff.

Best

Alfie
